Global Art & Culture USA Receives Official Recognition at Washington, D.C. Cultural Event

Washington, D.C. — May 2, 2026

On May 2, 2026, Global Art & Culture USA presented an international cultural concert in Washington, D.C., featuring a distinguished lineup of emerging artists including Dr. Boya Li, Dr. Xi Lu, Danyi Ma, Ziwei Xu, Shanshan Zhang, Qingzhou Zhang, Lucas Chao Liu, Jingyi Xu, and Jiayi Zhao, among others.

The event was formally recognized by H.E. Ambassador Dr. Tiffany Lancaster (United Nations Cultural Ambassador) and the Washington, D.C. Mayor’s Office on African Affairs, highlighting the organization’s growing role in advancing international cultural exchange.

Centered on the mission of United Nations cultural dialogue and artistic collaboration, the program introduced an innovative cross-disciplinary format integrating music, visual art, and poetry, including a unique exploration of the Chinese pentatonic (five-tone) system in a contemporary global context.

The event also featured a solo exhibition by artist Liaoweichang, further expanding the dialogue between visual and performing arts.

Dr. Sicheng He, Dr. Yangwei Xu, Dr. Xuansong, and Dr. Xiaohang Yu’s studio students delivered outstanding performances that were both inspiring and artistically exceptional. All performers were honored with certificates and medals in recognition of their excellence.
