GAC Sustains Overseas Momentum in May: AION UT Drives Asia-Pacific Sales as Localized Services Set New Benchmarks

In May 2026, GAC’s overseas business grew rapidly. GAC’s proprietary brand exports reached 28,386 units, up 140% year-on-year; January-May cumulative exports hit 98,861 units, a 135% increase. In Asia-Pacific, May retail sales grew 123% year-on-year, including a 293% surge in Hong Kong and 129% in Thailand. In Singapore, GAC ranked second in April’s pure EV new registration ranking. In Thailand, GAC led the electric taxi market from January to April, with its lead widening.
